BASKETBALL

is a very competitive sport that will teach your child teamwork.  It is primarily an indoor, organized sport that is played on a court.  Points are scored for passing the ball through the basket.  The team that has scored the most points at the end of the game wins.

This sport is played professionally as well as the Olympics.  In addition, basketball is available in most middle school, high school and college sports programs.

Basketball is very fast-paced and requires a great deal of skill and understanding.  The players must be able to react to their teammates, think quickly and orchestrate a play to completion.
